Press kit

Summ-it is the read-it-later app you listen to: everything you save (articles, newsletters, YouTube videos, PDFs) plays as one continuous queue, full or summary, your choice per item.

The story

Read-later lists grow faster than anyone reads them, because reading needs eyes and a chair. Summ-it moves that list to the moments you have ears free: the walk, the commute, the kitchen. When saves pile up anyway, Catch Up folds the older ones into one short spoken recap, and the originals stay recoverable.

What it does

  • Save from anywhere: the share sheet on iPhone and Android, browser extensions for Chrome, Firefox and Safari, email forwarding, paste, and PDF, TXT or Markdown files.
  • Listen as a playlist: everything you save plays as one continuous queue, at 0.75–2× speed, offline, from the lock screen, your earbuds, CarPlay or Android Auto. Natural-voice items also play in the browser through the extension.
  • Full or summary, per item, switchable any time.
  • Catch Up: older unplayed saves become one short spoken recap. The originals are archived and recoverable.
  • Ask Summit: ask a question of your own saved library and get a short answer citing the articles it came from (Pro, Premium and trial).
  • Share links: anyone can listen to a shared item in the browser, with no install and no sign-up.

What it deliberately doesn't do

  • No highlights or annotations. It is built for listening, not marking up.
  • No RSS feeds or recommendations. It plays only what you saved.

Pricing

Free to start, with 25 natural-voice credits. Pro $7.99/mo ($74.99/yr), Premium $13.99/mo ($129.99/yr) on Google Play; App Store pricing may vary.

If you stop paying: saving and listening keep working on the basic on-device voice, up to 100 saves a month.
